Elizabeth is in her late 70's. She is married,has children,grand children and a sister. She enjoys spending time with her loved ones and walking her dog for a few miles daily. She also enjoys travelling with her husband and she helps her sister who needs care.

Elizabeth's life was shaken up 3 years ago when she felt very unwell one day on waking: she felt violently sick and the room was spinning. Her head felt muzzy and she had a headache, a pressure sensation on and in her forehead. She was then transported to the hospital where they diagnosed a viral infection in her left ear. She was prescribed medication for her dizziness but it made her even more dizzy! So she stopped the medication. She was tried on other medications to relieve her symptoms but they all made her worse. As her GP was not able to help her further she went to a centre specialized in vertigo where she received treatments over a year . Unfortunately the outcome was poor. 

So when I saw Elizabeth for the first time, 3 years after the onset of her symptoms, she was very limited in what she could do. Indeed she was light-headed for several hours every day and this was accompanied with sickness. She had to hold on to walls or furniture when moving around in her house and had to stopped walking her dog as it became impossible. Every time she was moving she felt out of balance and could fall. Life had become very difficult for Elizabeth. She also could not go out without the presence of her husband who runs a busy business. She also had to stop looking after her sister which was also problematic. 

After an initial consultation consisting at identifying the causes and factors responsible for her condition I first started treating Elizabeth weekly. While she didn't response to my first couple of treatments she reported a 70% improvement at the fourth consultation which was the best she felt for years. At the fifth consultation she was again improved and she kept improving afterwards. After a total of 10 treatments she told me: ''I am brilliant!'' She was symptoms free and could again enjoy life including the simplest things of life such as walking, spending time with family, going out by one self and travelling.

Here are the kind words Elizabeth wrote me for Christmas:

''Julien I would like to thank you so very much for all you have done for me regarding vertigo. I never thought that I would ever get over the awful dizzy spells I had. You are amazing, what you have done for me, exercises, the treatments. I call you my magic man.''

While I am not a magician and have no magic wands I use many tools to treat conditions people suffer from such as vertigo. Those tools are however useless if you don't know which one to use, where to use them and for which purpose. The ultimate purpose is to address the causes of someone's symptoms.

In the case of Elizabeth, I used a combination of osteopathy, ozone therapy applied to the ears, injection of ozone in particular points of the body, an homeopathic remedy, heat therapy and the prescription of exercises in order to address what I thought was the underlying causes of her vertigo.
